Bandanas are one, if not the most versatile of all accessories. Genderless and multi-use by design, perfect for “not-so-good” hair days or to elevate any outfit… even to wrap your food to go ✔️you name it, bandanas do it all!

The artwork is inspired by the Larimar stone as part of our identity blueprint + some facts and insights about it written in Spanish all around the edges… If there is a color that distinguishes us as Caribbeans and Domis, it has to be the larimar blue.

The OG public school uniform in the DR, after many generations, was changed in 2017 from light blue cotton shirts to polyester collar t-shirts alternating the color by region under the argument that this design is “more ergonomic” however the transition from natural fiber and unique color to synthetic fiber and non-representative colors is more of a downgrade tbh + non-biocompatible which can literally make the learning process less efficient. Whoever made this choice clearly doesn’t know anything about it.

So, this inspired us to create our ideal version of it. We took the og version with the light blue, which makes more sense since it resembles Larimar and brought it back, as a proposal for this color to be embedded in our ID as Dominicans + our “Fe” logo (faith in Spanish) placed over the heart, an acronym for Freedom Ecowear whilst resembling a “seed of faith” for these challenging times. Resulting on a lightweight fresh flowy shirt perfect for life in the tropics.
