The Rueda Rueda Scarf is inspired by the A la Rueda Rueda nursery rhyme, the Spanish (or Dominican) version of "Ring Around the Rosie." While there are many versions, this is the one we grew up with. The song refers to a cinnamon roll or Danish pastry and going to school—though if you don’t feel like going, the lyrics suggest just going to sleep. This mirrors the English segment of the song, where it says, "We all fall down."
