Inspired by my favorite season in the Dominican Republic, mango season :) and the poem Mangos Bajitos by Juan Antonio Alix. In the poem, the "mangos bajitos" represent taking the easy way out without effort, often leading to failure. I wanted to create a collection that encourages us all to reach for the “mangos altos”, to aim higher, to embrace challenges, to climb a little higher, to be bold and vibrant.
